Mum’s liver pate

January 21, 2016 by Ulla

My mum makes a most fabulous liver pate. Peder can’t stop eating once he launches into the pate. Lots of friends have tried it and they praise the pate.

Now it is time to share a great recipe with you.

250 g of liver beef or pork

250 g of pork fat

1 tbs flour

½ tsp pepper

1 tsp salt

1 egg

2-2½ cups of milk

Onion

Mix well and bake in oven in bain-marie at 180° for app. 1 hour

Peder added a few fillets of Anchovies. Wow that is magic. Go Peder, go!

A bain-marie is a water bath. It is a type of heated bath and the liver pate is heated gently and gradually to fixed temperatures.
